Since our foundation in 1984, Officeline has been working to prevent occupational injury by developing and manufacturing office chairs. Our driving force is the incorporation of ergonomics, function and design in a reasonably priced product.
The world’s first office chair developed and made specifically for women is manufactured by Officeline in cooperation with the designer Monica Förster. Lei is presented for the first time at the 2009 Stockholm Furniture Fair and is the result of an ergonomic study on female sitting posture compared to that of men.
Lei is revolutionizing the market; it has an innovative design solution, which offers support for the lumbar vertebrae and the curve of the spine with the patented LumbarFlex™ system. Moreover, it provides an innovative adjustment method, stylishly hidden under the chair’s seat. In place of hard-to-manoeuvre levers, Lei offers an easy-to-use adjust–ment button, rather like the scroll wheel on a computer mouse.
Our products are built on the latest and most advanced Synchronic and Freefloat mechanisms and we work continuously with international designers, ergonomists, producers and clients to be able to be in the forefront. Our special concept for ”Individual seating comfort” is based on every individuals need for a good ergonomic work place and is developed together with ergonomist Ellen Wheatley.
We aim to provide high quality products for all working environments such as the office, the conference room, in schools and at home.
We are all built different, have different working habits and situations, work in different places and have different preferences and taste. In Officelines premium, classic and basic collections you will be able to find priceworthy office chairs that is easy use, ergonomically developed and with innovative design
