Adjust your chair
Start off with a default setting. Choose seating height and seat depth so that you are seated comfortably. You should reach the floor with you feet and receive seat and thigh support. Hips and back are supported by the backrest, all the way down from the lumbar up to the shoulder blades. Adjust the armrests so that most of your forearm is supported close to your body. Switch between different postures, sitting forward, reclining and comfortably stretched out. If the chair is equipped with a neck rest this should be set so that neck and head are on the rest. By following these instructions you have a proper and functional support as well as the variations in posture your body needs.
